I have close to a decade of extensive travel industry experience gained from working with STA Travel Inc., a large Multi National specialist Travel Company, within both the Australasia and North America divisions (to Branch Manager level) and more recently a year and a half with a dedicated Honeymoon Travel Agency.

I have numerous Travel industry recognized certifications and diplomas, including full IATAN accreditation and am a fully licensed and full serviceTravel Agency.

My personal travel experiences have included; Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, China, Fiji. Tahiti, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, The Caribbean, North America, Canada, Scandinavia, Europe, Egypt and New Zealand. Great travel agency in the heart of Portland!!!

Recently, my family had a great trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico which was arranged by Honeymoons a la Carte. We were refereed this company from our friends who went with this company for their honeymoon. It was our first family trip (with little ones) to Mexico and we wanted to make sure everything was well planned.

Michael was outstanding!!! Not only he selected many of the great family friendly hotels provide kids club and activities, but also made sure that the safety of beaches so that our kids can swim and play.  We finally chose the Dream Villamagna, and we had an incredible vacation!

Oh my God, this place is great!  My friend told me to stop spending my time trying to find my own honey moon deals and just contact the place she had used, Honeymoons a la Carte.  Not only did I get the Hawaiian honeymoon I wanted, but he got me to Kauai!  The hotel was fabulous (5 star, no less) and he booked us a kayaking and zip-line excursion that totally rocked. I knew I wanted to go to Hawaii for my honeymoon and he had so many suggestions on other destinations that as soon as we got back we started a savings for our anniversary trip to Europe.  Michael will definitely be getting that call.  I just cannot recommend him highly enough.  As if his knowledge, charm and kindness weren't enough, he has an accent that makes me want to call him up just as an excuse to hear him talk.  I will never book my own travel again, thank you Michael!

I just used Honeymoons a la Carte for my Hawaiian honeymoon and Michael was super easy to work with.  I didn't really know where to start and I didn't have a lot of time to spend researching things. He patiently gave me options, let me pick and ran with it from there.  I was able to keep most of the outings a surprise for my new wife so every day was exciting!  I'd totally use them again, no question.

Thank you so much for all that you did for us!  Everything went very smoothly, and all was in place as you planned.  We had a wonderful time and will jump at the next chance we get to travel again.  We enjoyed ourselves and took to heart your advice about enjoying the experiences.  Even when things seemed a little odd or different, we were able to go with the flow and enjoy the experience in someone else's world.  It was great advice!  We have enjoyed sharing photos and stories with friends and family.  We enjoyed the sites in both cities, the food a little more in Rome, the people a little more in Spain, but overall we loved them both.  Thanks again for all that you did!

I found Honeymoons a la Carte on line before moving to Portland from Chicago last fall and booked an anniversary in the Greek Islands for my husband and I for Athens, Santorini and Mykonos.

Michael was more than helpful in organizing easily the best trip I have ever been on!  He showed a genuine interest in us and our trip and also suggested some great pre booked tours (of which i chose two ). 

Having not traveled here before he gave me a lot of useful advice, ideas and travel tips after making the reservation and he went well beyond what he needed to do for me. I endorse him completely for anyone planning travel and we will be working with him again (as soon as I save up enough to go to Australia Michael!!!)

He can book most trips for a small deposit with payments at your own pace up to 30-40 days pre departure which was great for us with all our moving costs mounting up!

It has renewed my faith in working with a Travel agent again and he also got us the best pricing (at least 400 dollars less than similar agencies were quoting).
